Marie STEISS is new face for Givenchy perfume Angel or Demon. Marie de Villepin, 20 and eldest daughter of French Prime Minister. the former student of economics has been chosen as the new model and spokes person for Givenchy perfume Angel or Demon. Marie, who is using her stage name Steiss in order to avoid being accused of exploiting her father's fame, has been chosen due to her dual identity. She perfectly matches the concept of 'Angel or Demon', an oriental floral perfume of a sensual strangeness". The advertisement shows Marie next to the slogan "Ange ou demon - elle seule le sait" or in English "Angel or demon, only she knows" which has been shot by the a-list photographer mario sorrenti. The new perfume reportedly is more expensive than Givenchy's last with Liv Tyler, Very Irresistible and currently is one of the best sold fragances in the world.

In september 2005 Marie started to shoot pictures with star photographer gilles bensimon for the French edition of Elle magazine. about 1 year later marie actually decided to focus more on her modelling career while she has been discovered in new york for the catwalks of Diane Von Furstenberg, krizia, givenchy and many others. She has also tried her hand at acting, with smaller roles in the French series "Les Rois Maudits" (2005), based on the novel by Maurice Druon; the film "Fauteils d'Orchestre" by Danièle Thompson and her debut as a child actress in "La Bûche", by the same producer in 1999.
