Chiara Scelsi was born in Milan, Italy. After an athletic injury sidelined her sports career, she turned to modeling, encouraged by friends who recognized her striking beauty. Her breakthrough came when Karl Lagerfeld cast her in Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2016 show in Paris, captivated by her fresh, Mediterranean appeal. Since then, Chiara has become one of Italy’s most sought-after models.
She is best known as a longtime ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana, representing the brand across Ready-to-Wear, Beauty, Haute Couture, and Accessories campaigns and shows. In 2018, she also signed a Chanel Beauty contract—another major milestone.
